You've heard me complaining all summer that I can't get shots of butterflies or bumble bees . Well Rob has been listening to the same , so this afternoon , he said Gage Park has a butterfly garden and we'll go to the Connaught fish and chip place afterward. We got to the park a little late and the butterflies were very active and seemed like babies because they were small, brownish ones that didn't stop on the flowers,,but,,,the bees were buzzing in droves . I guess that 's the wrong word for bees , but there were a lot of them! Here is a gallery of our 2 hours there. It was so exciting ! There are a few that are not as sharp as I want , but I was so happy to be able to get cone flowers, black eyed susans, yellow lillies, various hydrangeas, sunflowers ,hosta blossoms, and many purple blooms that I can't identify! Woo Hoo
Then to dinner and some neat shots outside the restaurant! Wow ! Retirement is FUN!!!
