> Nature > To Capture A falling leaf ,Happy Happy halloween !and some weird shots!!
It's my birthday ,and I woke up feeling a little down. Do you remember when we were kids ,we always made sure to tell our age as 7 and a half or 6 years and 9 months old?
Well ,gone are those days ;but on this beautiful sunny and windy day I saw leaves falling in my yard. Aha ,,,I'll take my camera out and capture a falling leaf. No leaf did I shoot ,but my spirits lifted with each passing yard ,dressed up for Halloween , the gorgeous foliage on the tree lined street to the park , and the serenity of Bayfront park itself .
These are still mostly practice but seeing the hawk was the best birthday gift I could have received. I'm quite contented now and by next birthday I might be ready for a much better camera.
The last ten shots are from a rainy Wednesday .I went looking for the hawk but found lovely pollen instead.
You know , I think it could be a peregrine falcon? We have a yearly family that nests on a downtown Hamilton hotel roof. November 9 ; it had to happen. I took four pictures of the frost.
This is now 2012 and a hot summer has given me lots pf practice. Mostly weird shots though,,,,,feel free to give advice! xxxx
